- We run 20-40 miles offshore for Seabass, Porgies, Blues, Ling and other wreck fish.
- Recommended Tackle: 3/0 reel or something similar with 40 pound test. Size 3/0 or 4/0 hooks for bait rigs with 8-12 oz weight.

- We run 50-80 miles offshore for Giant Seabass, Porgies, Blues, Ling and other wreck fish. All of the fish we catch on these trips are excellent eating!
- Recommended Tackle: 3/0 or 4/0 reel with 40 pound test. Size 3/0, 4/0, 5/0, 6/0 hooks for bait rigs with 12-16 oz weight.
Note: The maximum reservation we will accept on a scheduled offshore trip is a party of 6, and will require a full non-refundable payment.
Rigs and lead can be purchased on board. We board in order of reservation 45 minutes prior to the event. Nothing is permitted on the boat before boarding begins.
Offshore Trip Fuel Surcharge
Due to the increased cost of marine fuel, a fuel surcharge will be added to all offshore fishing trips. Our offshore trips travel significantly farther from shore and require substantially more fuel than our regular fishing trips.
This surcharge helps offset the increased cost of fuel while allowing us to continue providing the offshore fishing experience, service, and time on the water our customers expect. The applicable fuel surcharge will be clearly displayed during the booking process. We appreciate your understanding and, most importantly, your continued support of the Starlight Fleet.
